Role Overview

The Senior Research Analyst will play a pivotal role in delivering analytical, research, and client support within a collaborative team environment. This position is crucial for providing healthcare insights and consulting services to both governmental and commercial entities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive analysis plans and documentation for review by project leaders and team members, collaborating with programming experts to implement complex methodologies effectively.
  • Contribute to client deliverables, including the interpretation of findings, preparation of reports, technical documents, presentations, and manuscripts.
  • Assist in the formulation of new business proposals.
  • Guide junior analysts and assistants in data extraction from diverse sources to support research proposals and project specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with project team members to ensure research projects align with client requirements.
  • Mentor junior research team members and lead training sessions for new hires.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the healthcare sector or quantitative research related to health.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at various organizational levels.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities and experience in building consensus.
  • Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience with administrative claims, survey data, or patient-level data is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of healthcare inpatient and outpatient provider processes.
  • Familiarity with healthcare information systems.
  • Understanding of healthcare regulatory affairs and government policies.
  • PMP certification is a plus.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree is required.

Preferred Education

  • Master's Degree is preferred.
