Clinical Laboratory Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at Mount Sinai Health System. As a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results, which are essential for diagnosing and treating patients.
Responsibilities:- Perform a variety of laboratory tests, including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and coagulation, to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Assist in procedures, quality control, and maintenance of laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Enter results into the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and follow laboratory policies and procedures.
- Perform manual differentials, body fluid cell counts, and urine microscopy as required.
- Collaborate with other laboratory staff to ensure seamless operation of the laboratory.
- NYS Licensed Medical Technologist (MT) certification required.
- BS degree in Science required; ASCP certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
