Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at Mount Sinai Health System. As a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory test results, which are essential for patient diagnosis and treatment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of laboratory tests, including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and coagulation, to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Assist in procedures, quality control, and maintenance of laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Enter results into the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and follow laboratory policies and procedures.
  • Perform manual differentials, body fluid cell counts, and urine microscopy as required.
  • Collaborate with other laboratory staff to ensure seamless workflow and efficient test processing.
Requirements:
  • NYS Licensed Medical Technologist (MT) certification required.
  • BS degree in Science or related field preferred.
  • ASCP certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
