Senior Instrumentation Technician

We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation Assembly Technician to join our team at BlackTree Technical Group, Inc. This role involves assembling, testing, and troubleshooting instruments and related products in our manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble and test instruments and subassemblies using small hand and/or power tools, with some soldering required.
- Finalize assembly of systems and accessories.
- Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of subassemblies and final assemblies.
- Collaborate with production technicians and engineering to improve assembly processes and ensure high-quality standards.
- Work with manufacturing engineers to optimize assembly efficiency, product quality, and cost reduction.
- Ensure adherence to work order protocols and complete paperwork as work is performed.
- May train other technicians on product assembly and established processes.
- Conduct in-process quality checks to ensure high-quality standards.
- Vocational training in Electronics or Solder Certification is preferred.
- Experience with hand tools, including crimpers, tweezers, multimeters, drills, taps, torque wrenches, and power tools is preferred.
- Demonstrated familiarity with Safety and ESD practices is desired.
Competency in reading blueprints and schematics is desired.
