**Job Summary**

Aclima is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our Fleet Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of drivers and ensuring the smooth operation of our vehicle-based data collection fleet.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage a team of drivers, including interviewing, training, and coaching to ensure high performance and well-being.
  • Track driver performance, manage time card approvals, and handle time off requests.
  • Provide insights to the Fleet Manager on team performance, progress towards goals, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with the Safety Manager to ensure safe vehicle operation.
  • Ensure vehicles are properly maintained and cleaned, with support from a Fleet Support Technician.
  • Coordinate with Hardware Operations to ensure data collection instruments are fully operational and instrument failures/bugs are documented and resolved.
  • Participate in Dispatch on-call rotations, including some outside of normal business hours.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, such as special event support.

**Requirements**

  • 3+ years of direct people management experience in a related field.
  • Experience in and enthusiasm for coaching and developing team members.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, especially in a mostly digital/remote setting.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize among competing demands.
  • Relentless drive to improve operations.
  • Clean driving record (no points in the last 3 years).
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety.
