At SGS, we're seeking a highly skilled and organized Human Resource Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will provide day-to-day support to our HR Business Partners, Compensation, Benefits, HRIS, HR Communications, and related team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to HR Business Partner and employee questions, resolving issues and providing HR reporting and analytics.
- Manage HR Systems employee life cycle data entry, including employee data changes, creation of job requisitions, and training support.
- Coordinate with HRBP, Shared Services, IT, Security, and external vendors to ensure a positive employee experience.
- Update and manage Termination Resources on HR Access (SharePoint site).
- Ensure compliance and integrity of all HR systems data through various audit processes.
- Partner with HRIS, Shared Services, IT, and Finance teams on supporting tools and systems, and troubleshoot user issues.
- Serve as a point of contact for both internal and outsourced Global Shared Services teams, ensuring service levels are met and processes are continually improved.
- Maintain and deliver standard and ad hoc HR reporting and analytics to and for the HR team and business.
- Support efforts to digitally enable the HR function and supporting processes.
- Support Global Onboarding team in conducting new hire orientation, including I-9 verification using EMPTrust and E-Verify.
- Support Global Compensation team with activities such as updating budgets, troubleshooting, and working with vendors on invoicing for spot awards programs.
- Maintain El Segundo HR office space, including ordering office supplies, submitting Facilities and IT tickets, and general upkeep of common areas.
- Initiate Overpayment Deduction Authorization forms to support Payroll's collection of owed monies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 2 years as a coordinator, and/or HRIS/Reporting supporting a fast-paced department; experience working in an HR department preferred.
- MS Office skills specifically in Excel (formulas, vlookups, mail merge, etc.) and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytic, organizational, and problem-solving capability.
- Ability to multi-task and self-manage/prioritize in a busy environment supporting 10+ HRBPs.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with clients and team members.
- Exceptional detail orientation and organization skills (with strong sense of urgency and follow-up/follow-through).
- Strong, clear, and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to actively listen and accurately interpret directions and instructions.
- Ability to think and illustrate 'big picture' focus as well as make sure the details are executed flawlessly.
- Maintains composure in highly stressful or adverse situations; ability to adapt effectively to change.
- Takes personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work and achieves results with little oversight.
- 'Can-do' attitude and proactive, solution-focused individual.
- Experience working with HCM systems and digitally enabled processes, Workday preferred.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Acrobat and InDesign) as well as AdobeSign preferred.
