Position Details:
Job Type: Full-time; Contractual
Location: Dallas, TX
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate
- Follow established work protocols (Factory, Shop, and/or Hangar environments).
- Adhere to health and safety regulations. Engage in 5-S initiatives and execute all tasks safely and promptly.
- Diagnose, repair, inspect, modify, and maintain aircraft avionics and electronic systems.
- Document all work performed in accordance with relevant manuals and regulatory standards.
- Utilize ground support equipment as necessary.
- Assist with the removal and installation of mechanical and electrical components.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
- May provide support for maintenance at external locations.
- Collaborate with other maintenance teams as needed.
- Completion of an Avionics/Electronics Technical Program or equivalent experience.
- Typically 0 – 2 years of relevant avionics experience or equivalent background.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical engineering schematics.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, regarding individual and aircraft status.
- Possess a basic set of hand tools and demonstrate effective inventory management.
- Must achieve necessary Ground Support Equipment certifications as required.
- Willingness to work unscheduled overtime, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Eligibility to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (if applicable).
- Relevant certifications as required by the client (Commercial Aircraft).
- Possession of A Certification, P Certification, or A & P Certificate.
- General Radiotelephone Operator License (GROL) or Aircraft Electronics Technician (AET) Certificate.
- Experience with corporate or commercial jet aircraft.
- Basic computer skills.
Hourly pay ranges from $28.12 to $42.18. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary benefits, an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), commuter benefits, and a 401K plan. Employees have the flexibility to select coverage that aligns with their personal needs. Additionally, associates may qualify for paid leave, including sick leave and holiday pay, as mandated by federal, state, or local laws.
