The Virginia Department of Social Services is seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Consultant, Sr. to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality learning experiences that meet the needs of our leaders and employees.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and identify learning needs across the organization
- Design and develop engaging learning experiences, including training programs, workshops, and online courses
- Deliver learning experiences to employees at all levels of the organization
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure learning experiences align with business goals and objectives
- Evaluate the effectiveness of learning experiences and make recommendations for improvement
- Considerable experience in adult learning and design
- Demonstrated experience delivering diverse learning experiences
- Significant experience developing plans, guides, and other materials to meet learning needs
- Experience designing, conducting, and reassessing learning needs using quantitative and qualitative data
- Strong professional writing and communications skills
- Ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities
- Experience leading teams and projects at various levels of the organization
