Business Development Agent

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Agent to act as a liaison between our potential clients and sales team.

Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience providing excellent customer service, answering in-bound inquiries with urgency, and managing a high volume of in-bound and out-bound phone calls.

You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact until you set a solid appointment for the customer to visit the dealership and meet with a brand certified sales consultant.

You will also ensure proper after-sales service.

Responsibilities:

  • Address all in-bound inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Follow up with customers daily to ensure their needs are met.
  • Contact potential clients through calls, texts, and emails.
  • Exhibit ethical behavior and provide the highest degree of customer satisfaction.
  • Identify client needs and note all communication in the CRM.
  • Learn to isolate and overcome common objections.
  • Complete all assigned daily tasks to set solid appointments for customers to visit the dealership.
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with customers.
  • Set up meetings or calls between customers and brand certified Sales Consultants.
  • Report to the Business Development Manager on sales results.

Requirements and skills:

  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques.
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
