Job Summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality care to clients in their homes. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating clients with physical disabilities, injuries, or illnesses, with the goal of helping them achieve optimal mobility and independence.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical abilities and develop personalized care plans to address their needs.
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to clients, using a variety of techniques and modalities to promote healing and improvement.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and caregivers to educate them on treatment plans and provide support.
  • Document client progress and adjust care plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Maryland.
  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
