Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to work with our multidisciplinary team to provide rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to clients in their homes. As a Physical Therapist with BAYADA, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and their families.
Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic tests and measurements to assess client needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Develop and implement manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other interventions to promote client independence and mobility.
- Continuously assess and revise care plans to ensure optimal client outcomes.
- Collaborate with nursing and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations to ensure accurate client care management.
- Current MD Physical Therapist license.
- Minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Physical Therapist.
- Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
- Solid computer skills and prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
