Position Summary:
The Retail Loan Administration Specialist role encompasses a range of responsibilities related to the management and processing of consumer and residential loan servicing activities. This position demands specialized expertise in consumer and residential loan servicing, including knowledge of lending regulations and specific departmental expectations regarding established servicing protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with Retail Loan Servicing management to ensure optimal servicing support for both internal and external clients, aligning with departmental objectives.
2. Conduct maintenance and research on consumer and mortgage loan products within various loan processing systems.
3. Reconcile and balance multiple general ledgers and suspense accounts related to loan servicing requirements.
4. Work closely with other business units to fulfill regulatory and customer service goals.
5. Take ownership of issues as they arise, performing detailed analyses to resolve them promptly while maintaining high standards of customer service.
6. Document and manage collateral associated with consumer and mortgage loan packages as necessary.
7. Respond to inquiries via phone and various servicing mailboxes within established service level agreements.
8. Process payments and payoff requests as directed by clients.
9. Review and analyze reports, documenting findings and presenting them to management or relevant groups.
10. Onboard and document new loans as required.
11. Execute Quality Assurance functions as directed by management to ensure compliance with loan onboarding and closing processes.
12. Communicate with internal and external partners, including audit and compliance teams, to ensure adherence to regulatory and servicing responsibilities.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience in a high-volume loan servicing environment is preferred.
- Prior experience in monetary or loan product servicing is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through is necessary.
- Basic understanding of lending terms and regulations is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills are required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is necessary.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment is essential.
