We are currently seeking a Material Program Manager to join our team. This pivotal role involves collaboration within a classified Supply Chain Integrated Product Team, focusing on the successful delivery of programs in the electronic warfare sector. The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional leadership skills as the primary material representative for the program, ensuring optimal supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and manage material risks and opportunities, providing reports at both the customer and program levels.
  • Formulate and implement supply chain strategies and plans.
  • Develop and oversee the material program strategy (MPS) and the material program plan (MPP).
  • Ensure comprehensive Supply Chain support for all program phases and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
  • Oversee the supplier management process, including performance evaluation and adherence to metrics.
  • Lead supply chain proposal activities, including task descriptions and basis of estimates.
  • Establish and execute risk and opportunity plans to align with program objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for small business engagement within the supply chain.
  • Monitor and proactively manage performance metrics related to cost, schedule, quality, and earned value management (EVM).
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and operating plans effectively.
  • Act as the Control Account Manager (CAM) for material-related activities.
  • Implement Supplier Management Best Practices to enhance supplier performance.
  • Utilize systems such as PRISM/SAP for operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least five (5) years of experience.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in supplier and subcontract management.
  • Knowledge of supply chain systems, procurement processes, and financial analysis.
  • Ability to translate customer requirements into actionable supplier directives.
  • Experience in material pricing, estimating, and proposal development.
  • Proficiency in managing technical requirements within budget and schedule constraints.
  • Strong presentation skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience in contract negotiation and integrated product team environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to coordinate strategies and manage tactical execution effectively.
