Job Title: Clinical Radiotherapy Physicist

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Radiotherapy Physicist to join our team. As a key member of our radiotherapy department, you will be responsible for providing HDR brachytherapy treatment supervision, afterloader and applicators quality assurance, radioactive seed ordering and assay, HDR and LDR brachytherapy planning and plan checking.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to clinical operation developments (software/hardware) for HDR Prostate Brachytherapy and for Eye Plaque Brachytherapy
  • Provide on-site clinical support and training for junior staff
  • Supervise External Beam Radiotherapy treatment, including SBRT/SRS treatment supervision
  • Perform Linac Quality Assurance (Daily, Monthly and Annual QA)
  • Design, code, and maintain informal technology systems for the management of radiotherapy operations
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Medical Physics, Physics, Engineering or a related field
  • 3 years of experience in the position offered or a related role
  • 3 years of experience with Radiotherapy Physics
  • 2 years of experience with HDR prostate, LDR Prostate, gynecologic HDR, eye plaque brachytherapy, intra-operative HDR and LDR brachytherapy, endobronchial and esophageal HDR brachytherapy
  • American Board of Radiology (ABR) or foreign equivalent certification in Radiotherapy Physics
Salary and Benefits:

$193,800 - $329,500/year

Part-time telecommuting permitted. Must work in office 3 days a week.
