Job Summary

As a Conference Services Attendant with Compass Group Careers, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our meeting rooms and public areas. Your attention to detail and excellent communication skills will make a significant impact on our clients' experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the highest level of professional appearance in all meeting rooms and public areas.
  • Ensure all meeting requirements are met prior to the meeting start time.
  • Supply and set up items not included in the room, such as flipcharts, whiteboards, and screens.
  • Assist with conference room readiness and refresh rooms between meetings.
  • Provide prompt and detailed service to clients, guests, and team members.
  • Maintain consistent phone and email communication with clients, guests, and support departments.
  • Offer assistance to clients and visitors throughout the building.
  • Communicate with co-workers and service partners to ensure updated information is shared.
  • Recommend room setups to planning managers and collaborate to identify solutions for unique setup challenges.
  • Conduct weekly site inspections of meeting rooms and contact the necessary department if items require service.
  • Assist with basic audio visual equipment, as needed.
  • Maintain inventory of all supplies and notify supervisors when additional supplies are needed.
Requirements
  • Previous customer service or houseman/porter experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
