IronRoad is conducting a confidential search for a Field Service Engineer specializing in the printing, packaging, or wide format sectors. This role is crucial for supporting our clients in the Midwest region.

Position Summary:

The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various print manufacturing machinery. Working under the guidance of Senior Engineers during the training phase, this role demands a high level of independent judgment and exceptional customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Install and maintain print production equipment for both existing and new clients.
  2. Troubleshoot and repair machinery, ensuring accurate documentation of all service activities.
  3. Maintain strong relationships with clients by analyzing service reports and suggesting improvements.
  4. Conduct pre-installation meetings to confirm necessary modifications for equipment installation.
  5. Assist in logistics coordination for equipment delivery and repairs.
  6. Provide training and demonstrations for clients on equipment usage.
  7. Complete necessary documentation, including service records and warranty information.
  8. Plan daily schedules and resolve customer issues effectively.
  9. Participate in educational opportunities to enhance job knowledge.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong mechanical and schematic understanding.
  • Experience in customer service and problem-solving.
  • Attention to detail and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Educational Background:
