We have immediate openings for imaginative News Producers across various locations. In this role, you will oversee the daily production of our newscasts. You will collaborate closely with the Executive Producer, Director, Assignment Desk, and Anchors to shape the newscast and its content. Your responsibilities will include determining the content and flow of newscasts, working with management and on-air personnel to generate and write stories, and developing engaging content for our digital platforms.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong news judgment
- Exceptional writing skills with a focus on accuracy
- The ability to multitask and manage time effectively to create compelling and informative newscasts
- Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities
- The capability to implement news strategies and objectives in daily broadcasts
- Flexibility and adept problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in non-linear editing software (e.g., Avid) and newsroom systems like iNews
Experience:
- Experience requirements may vary by location. In some areas, entry-level candidates with a degree in Journalism, Broadcast, or related fields may be considered.
