Alera Group Midwest, previously recognized as GCG Financial LLC, is in search of a dedicated Client Service Representative to enhance their Property & Casualty division.

The primary duties of the Client Service Representative involve supporting Account Managers and Producers in managing assigned Business Accounts.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering exceptional daily client service by anticipating client needs and promptly addressing inquiries from clients, producers, and account managers.
  • Processing change requests with a focus on Business Insurance Risk Management.
  • Preparing ID cards, binders, evidence of property, and other certificate of insurance requests.
  • Managing cancellations and reinstatements, along with processing and billing premium audits.
  • Preparing and billing Bonds as necessary.
  • Assisting in the creation of renewal exposure workbooks and drafting initial renewal proposals.
  • Organizing and delivering insured's copies of new and renewal policies.

Maintaining precise policy data in the agency management system (AMS360) and ensuring accurate client documentation in the document management system (Worksmart) is crucial. Building and sustaining courteous and effective relationships with clients, colleagues, insurance carriers, and other business contacts is essential.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the Manager.


Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, though not mandatory.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a Commercial Lines Agency within a highly automated, risk management-focused setting.
  • Possession of an Illinois Property & Casualty license or the ability to obtain one within 60 days of hire.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Experience with the AMS360 system is a significant advantage.
