Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Patient Service Representative to join our Family Medicine office. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless patient experiences, from scheduling appointments to check-in and check-out processes.
Responsibilities
- Schedule appointments and obtain prior authorizations from insurance companies as needed.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including greeting patients, answering questions, and assisting with pre-visit paperwork.
- Collect co-payments and schedule follow-up appointments, tests, and procedures.
- Field incoming telephone calls and triage appropriately.
- Monitor patient flow and waiting room activity.
- Provide general support to practice leadership, clinicians, and peers.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who possess relevant skills, positive attitudes, innovative spirits, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional patient care. Ideal candidates will have:
