Job Overview

Spectrum VoIP is a leading provider of cloud-hosted phone services, and we're seeking a highly motivated Mid-Market Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building a pipeline of customers in your territory and driving business growth through prospecting, cold calling, and leveraging your network to gather leads and generate business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and qualify new business opportunities through cold calling, canvassing, and leveraging your territory and network.
  • Consult with small business owners to understand their pain points and build customized solutions to fit their needs.
  • Service and grow existing account base by planning and organizing daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules.
  • Develop new customers by researching market segments, identifying target customers, and cultivating new relationships.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, delivery schedules, and overall trends.
  • Negotiate new account and existing account contract/purchase order renewals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of professional selling experience, preferably in solutions sales.
  • Proven track record of closing sales and exceeding targets on a year-by-year basis.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and a can-do attitude.
  • Valid driver's license and valid public liability and property damage insurance.
What We Offer
  • $50,000-$70,000 / year + variable compensation.
  • Aggressive compensation structure with the ability to earn total compensation: $85,000 - $150,000 annual.
