About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate or Sales Manager to join our team at Tire Discounters. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate customer needs and recommend products and services to meet their specific needs and interests
  • Follow each customer transaction through to completion, ensuring a seamless and satisfying experience
  • Provide outstanding customer service to every customer, addressing their concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a positive and productive work environment
  • Take accountability for the presentation of the store, including the exterior and interior, and ensure that all areas are clean and well-maintained
  • Fill out paperwork accurately and efficiently, following company policies and procedures
  • Ensure sales growth for the store location, meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Make customer calls daily to increase sales opportunities and build relationships with existing customers
  • Motivate colleagues to perform to their highest potential, contributing to a positive and productive team environment
  • Assist in the shop as needed, including installing tires and performing other tasks as required

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least one year of retail sales experience, with commissioned sales experience a plus
  • Strong customer service experience and ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time without sitting
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Desire to succeed and grow with the company
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to meet productivity objectives
  • Valid driver's license
  • Tire industry experience a plus
