Position Overview:

The Sales Associate at Brahmin Leather Works plays a crucial role in collaborating with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to cultivate a retail atmosphere that delivers outstanding sales performance and customer satisfaction while adhering to visual merchandising guidelines.

This role is accountable for achieving specific sales targets. A parking allowance will be included.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Performance:

  • Meet and exceed sales and service objectives in critical performance metrics such as DPTs, UPTs, AURs, and Customer Conversion rates.
  • Utilize company resources and personal leadership skills to foster a robust selling culture that encourages team members to meet productivity benchmarks.

  • Evaluate store performance reports to enhance results and respond proactively to market trends.
  • Set a positive example and uphold consistent sales and service standards through effective communication, training, and accountability.
  • Identify opportunities to boost sales and ensure financial targets are met.

  • Exhibit exceptional selling and customer service abilities to drive sales.
  • Simultaneously assist multiple customers while managing various tasks or projects.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Guide team members to effectively promote Brahmin brand initiatives and enhance key sales and service metrics.
  • Ensure outstanding customer interactions that foster meaningful experiences and strengthen brand loyalty.
  • Encourage brand allegiance by supporting service enhancements and actively engaging with local businesses for store events.

  • Assist the Store Manager in developing the store's business strategy.

Operational Excellence:

  • Organize and prioritize tasks to align with business needs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the store.
  • Safeguard company assets and uphold a secure working environment.
  • Ensure adherence to all company policies and relevant employment regulations.
  • Support the planning and implementation of Brahmin brand visual strategies.
  • Participate in and lead special projects and additional responsibilities as required.

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Demonstrates integrity and enthusiasm to inspire overall store success.
  • Possesses a strong drive, ambition, and passion for sales to ensure the store's prosperity.
  • Must be personable and assertive, with the ability to contribute to the store's success.
  • Exhibits professional communication skills with the Store Manager, customers, associates, and corporate partners.
  • Capable of leading by example and maintaining consistent sales and service standards through effective communication and training.
  • Able to collaborate with management on store-related matters.
  • Maintains a professional appearance that aligns with the brand image.
  • Flexible availability to accommodate business needs, including varied shifts and weekends.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for the entirety of the work shift, engaging in constant movement, communication, and interaction. Occasionally involves bending, kneeling, and climbing. Must be able to lift items weighing up to 40 pounds.

  • A High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) is required.
