Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and hire staff to ensure the store is fully staffed at all times.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Merchandise and maintain a neat and clean store environment.
  • Process accurate and efficient sales and return transactions.
  • Utilize effective interactivity to connect with customers and understand their needs and wants.
  • Embody Spartina LLC's core cultures and values.
  • Perform front-end responsibilities such as cashier, returns, and reserve online pick-up in-store.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Supervise employees to complete tasks and achieve goals in the absence of store management.
  • Manage sales floor and drive retail sales by addressing guest concerns, coaching employees, and mitigating product loss.
  • Ensure daily remerchandising, daily replenishment, and store cleanliness standards are properly executed.
  • Open and close the store following proper procedures.
  • Ensure registers are properly opened and closed, and alarms are set correctly.
  • Confirm deposit slips, spreadsheets, and envelopes are correctly filled out and discrepancies are reconciled.
  • Execute management cashier responsibilities such as return, exchange, and check approvals.
  • Remain current on all company policies and ensure all policies, standards, and procedures are maintained and followed.

  • Able to work a flexible schedule.
