We are currently in search of qualified candidates for the Banking Operations Associate I position. This role involves:

  • Establishing, maintaining, and reporting on Internet Banking, Bill Pay, and E-Statements.
  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and company policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
  • Processing wire transfers and managing dormant account reporting.
  • Engaging with third-party vendors involved in these processes.

Essential Functions:
As a Banking Operations Associate I, you will:

  • Conduct customer research on escalated issues.
  • Provide necessary research information to other departments regarding escalated matters.
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities and promote American Bank of Commerce products and services to customers.
  • Communicate with customers via telephone or other channels to provide account information, product details, or to gather information on complaints.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure their issues have been resolved satisfactorily.
  • Refer unresolved grievances to the appropriate departments for further investigation.
  • Maintain accurate change of address records.
  • Utilize specialized software to record, store, and analyze information.
  • Perform general office tasks such as filing, answering phones, and managing routine correspondence.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by management.
  • Adhere to all relevant security responsibilities as outlined in the Bank's Information Security Program.
  • Prepare and manage the Closed Account Report, work on DDA and GL Unposted Reports, handle chargebacks, and manage customer bank drafts for collection.
  • Process NSF transactions and manage death notifications.
  • Develop, update, and publish operational and workflow procedures.
