Job Responsibilities:
We are currently in search of qualified candidates for the Banking Operations Associate I position. This role involves:
- Establishing, maintaining, and reporting on Internet Banking, Bill Pay, and E-Statements.
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and company policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
- Processing wire transfers and managing dormant account reporting.
- Engaging with third-party vendors involved in these processes.
Essential Functions:
As a Banking Operations Associate I, you will:
- Conduct customer research on escalated issues.
- Provide necessary research information to other departments regarding escalated matters.
- Identify cross-sell opportunities and promote American Bank of Commerce products and services to customers.
- Communicate with customers via telephone or other channels to provide account information, product details, or to gather information on complaints.
- Follow up with customers to ensure their issues have been resolved satisfactorily.
- Refer unresolved grievances to the appropriate departments for further investigation.
- Maintain accurate change of address records.
- Utilize specialized software to record, store, and analyze information.
- Perform general office tasks such as filing, answering phones, and managing routine correspondence.
- Complete additional duties as assigned by management.
- Adhere to all relevant security responsibilities as outlined in the Bank's Information Security Program.
- Prepare and manage the Closed Account Report, work on DDA and GL Unposted Reports, handle chargebacks, and manage customer bank drafts for collection.
- Process NSF transactions and manage death notifications.
- Develop, update, and publish operational and workflow procedures.
