About the Job

At Quality Talent Group, we're seeking a skilled Body Shop Technician to join our team. As a Body Shop Technician, you will be responsible for examining damaged vehicles and efficiently planning the repair process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Examine damaged vehicles and plan the repair process.
  • Work with others to communicate vehicle repair status.
  • Perform quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
  • Make decisions on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
  • Remove upholstery, accessories, and other equipment to access the vehicle.
  • Participate in safety meetings and follow all required protocols.
  • File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power tools and hand tools.
  • Supervise repair personnel and direct the work of an apprentice when needed.

Requirements

  • Ability to use a frame machine.
  • Certification in body repair is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the vehicle repair process by manufacturer.
  • I-CAR welding certification.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret measuring data.
  • Ability to supervise repair personnel.
