About the Job: Body Shop Technician

At Quality Talent Group, we're seeking a skilled Body Shop Technician to join our team. As a Body Shop Technician, you will be responsible for examining damaged vehicles and efficiently planning the repair process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine damaged vehicle and plan repair process
  • Work and communicate with others on vehicle repair status
  • Perform quality repairs while maintaining on-time status
  • Make decisions on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time
  • Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window operating equipment, and trim to gain access to vehicle and fenders
  • Participate in all required safety meetings
  • File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power tools and hand tools
  • Direct the work of an apprentice in the performance of tasks when needed

Qualifications:

  • Ability to use frame machine
  • Certification in body repair preferred
  • Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer
  • I-CAR welding certified
  • Ability to supervise repair personnel
