Position Objective:

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Gain comprehensive knowledge of all beverage offerings.
  • Maintain adequate stock of all bar supplies and alcoholic beverages.
  • Follow all applicable rules and procedures related to alcohol sales and distribution.
  • Deliver courteous and prompt service to guests.
  • Verify the legal drinking age (21) of customers ordering alcoholic beverages.
  • Uphold the highest standards of guest satisfaction and safety.
  • Monitor guest behavior and identify signs of intoxication.
  • Follow departmental guidelines when limiting alcohol sales to patrons.
  • Report any concerns or guest complaints to the Bar Manager.
  • Stay informed about casino events and promotions to provide accurate information to guests.
  • Utilize the point of sale system to manage orders and document sales.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
  • Comply with all tip reporting regulations and relevant requirements.
  • Obtain and maintain necessary licenses, including a liquor license, gaming license, and food handler's permit.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Previous bartending experience is required.
  • Oklahoma Liquor License is mandatory.
  • Food Handler's Permit is necessary.

Licensing Requirements:

Must be able to acquire and retain the required Gaming License.

Work Environment:

Shift: Part-Time

This position requires problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills. The role involves prolonged periods of walking, bending, or lifting, with the capacity to carry up to 50 pounds daily. Work is conducted in a casino setting with varying conditions of lighting, air quality, noise, and temperature.
