Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technician III to join our team at Scientific Research Corporation. As an Engineering Technician III, you will be responsible for constructing and testing complex engineering systems, troubleshooting malfunctions, and developing information concerning previous operational failures and modifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Construct and test complex engineering systems, including components, subunits, and simple models.
  • Troubleshoot and correct malfunctions in engineering systems.
  • Follow specific layout and scientific diagrams to construct and package simple devices and subunits of equipment.
  • Conduct various tests or experiments, including minor modifications in test setups or procedures.
  • Extract and compile engineering data from field notes, manuals, lab reports, and other sources.
  • Develop information concerning previous operational failures and modifications.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology, math, or science, or formal electronics training from a technical school, military school, or four-year electronics apprentice program.
  • Three years of experience with a degree or formal training, or five years of experience with a high school diploma or GED.
  • Experience with Navy C4I systems is desired.
