Engineering Technician II

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technician II to join our team at Scientific Research Corporation. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for assembling, constructing, and repairing equipment and instruments, as well as conducting tests and extracting engineering data.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble and construct simple or standard equipment and parts, and service or repair simple instruments and equipment.
- Conduct a variety of tests using established methods, prepare test specimens, adjust and operate equipment, record test data, and identify deviations resulting from equipment malfunction or observational errors.
- Extract engineering data from various prescribed but non-standardized sources, process the data using well-defined methods, and present the data in a prescribed form.
- Perform standardized or prescribed assignments involving a sequence of related operations, follow standard work methods on recurring assignments, and receive explicit instructions on unfamiliar assignments.
- Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology, math, or science, or formal electronics training from a technical school, military school, or electronics apprentice program.
- Two years of experience with a degree or formal training, or four years of experience with a high school diploma or GED.
- Experience with Navy C4I systems is desired.
Please note that this position requires U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a U.S. government security clearance at the Secret level.
