In this role, you will manage customer inquiries through various communication channels, addressing both straightforward and complex issues to minimize service disruptions and enhance customer satisfaction.
We seek individuals who are dedicated to customer service excellence, possess outstanding communication skills, and are adept at crafting innovative solutions to challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer emails and phone calls, providing requested information and resolving issues effectively.
- Process new bookings and modify existing ones as per customer requirements through multiple platforms.
- Keep customers informed about their shipments, including updates on schedules, equipment availability, and routing details.
- Communicate essential information regarding holds, vessel arrivals, customs updates, and any delays.
- Monitor and follow up on pending cases, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct root cause analysis for service failures and coordinate recovery efforts with relevant stakeholders.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures while undertaking additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate degree is preferred.
- A minimum of one year of relevant work experience is preferred.
- Exceptional presentation, written communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Proficiency in basic Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook, Word) is required.
- Ability to leverage technology for process improvement and problem-solving.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are necessary for success in this role.
- Experience in a high-volume customer service environment is advantageous.
