Compliance Specialist

At Defense Maritime Solutions Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Compliance Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring our company's compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Review international orders to ensure all necessary documentation is submitted to the relevant authorities.
- Verify data within international orders for accuracy and completeness.
- Review end-user statements and ensure compliance with government regulations.
- Classify products according to HTS, SchB, ECCN, and USML guidelines.
- Prepare and submit Electronic Export Information (EEI) filings to the Federal Government.
- Perform denied party screenings and ensure compliance with OFAC regulations.
- Provide export control guidance and support to internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in international trade compliance, including knowledge of FTR, EAR, ITAR, and US import customs requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
