Main Responsibilities Include:
  • Training New Pest Management Specialists - provide on-the-job instruction to new employees during their initial 6 weeks and ensure the completion of weekly Training Checklists.
  • Support for New Pest Management Specialists - conduct weekly evaluations and monthly gatherings with new hires during their first year and maintain necessary documentation for records.
  • Successful completion of the Rentokil NA Field Training Certification Program (with biannual recertification).
Additional Responsibilities:

As a Certified Training Specialist (Weeks 1-6 of Trainee):
  • Conduct ride-alongs for job candidates during the selection process.
  • Arrive punctually and prepared for training sessions.
  • Effectively impart skills and provide timely feedback.
  • Maintain weekly communication with the Trainee's Supervisor.
  • Weekly assessment and progress sign-off for Training Checklists.
As Support (Weeks 6 - 1 Year of Trainee):
  • Establish a strong working relationship with the Trainee.
  • Be accessible via phone (or text) to address Trainee inquiries.
  • Assist in setting expectations for the Trainee as they navigate through various training phases.
  • Facilitate a smooth transition from Trainee to productive team member.
  • Communicate any concerns or issues to the Trainee's Supervisor.
Compensation and Benefits:

Qualifications:

Applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Minimum of 1 year experience with Rentokil North America as a Pest Management Specialist.
  • Fully trained according to the Rentokil NA Career Advancement Program (Career Level 4 or 5).
  • Possess the appropriate state/province applicator license and categories.
  • Favorable evaluations from the most recent Annual Performance Review.
  • Exhibit professionalism in conduct.
