A successful Refrigeration Systems Maintenance Specialist is a proactive troubleshooter who guarantees the optimal functionality and durability of refrigeration systems. You will conduct thorough preventative maintenance, swiftly identify and rectify issues, and foster strong relationships with clients through your expertise and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on commercial refrigeration units (including walk-in coolers, reach-in freezers, and ice machines).
- Inspect and evaluate refrigeration system components (such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, and fans) for proper functionality.
- Perform cleaning of coils, lubrication of moving parts, and replacement of air filters.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues within refrigeration systems.
- Identify and resolve leaks, electrical faults, and mechanical problems.
- Replace worn or defective parts and components as necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance using service software.
- Effectively communicate with clients to explain issues and solutions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with commercial refrigeration systems.
- Experience in cleaning ice machines, condensers, and drainage systems.
- Familiarity with installing basic components for preventative maintenance.
- Assistance with obtaining EPA Certification will be provided.
- Strong understanding of refrigeration systems and their components.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with technology.
- Experience with Epass appliance service software is advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must possess personal hand tools.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Skilled in quickly identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
