Senior Financial Analyst Job Summary

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Compass Group USA. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in spearheading reserve analysis, balance sheet oversight, and corporate reconciliations.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting and analysis
  • Perform in-depth analysis of specific balance sheet reserve accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Support the oversight of the Corporate balance sheet by facilitating the review of reconciliations and holding regular meetings with other accounting departments and sectors
  • Establish and maintain policies to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls
  • Collaborate with business partners to ensure accurate and successful month-end close activities
  • Perform monthly accounting close activities, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist in the annual audit by providing requested reports and schedules
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • CPA/CPA Candidate
  • 2-3+ years of accounting/finance experience (public accounting and/or industry)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Solid understanding of IFRS and US GAAP
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • MS Office proficiency
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Power Platform / process automation experience
  • SAP & Hyperion/Essbase experience
  • 2+ years Public Accounting experience
  • MS in Accounting
  • Experience with SOX compliance testing & internal controls
  • Experience with a large company ($3 billion sales preferred)
