Job Summary

Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team of experts in environmental remediation. As a key member of our consulting company, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction phase of environmental remediation projects. This role requires a strong background in environmental site investigation and remediation, as well as experience in managing subcontractors and fieldwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical supervision of construction projects, including bid preparation, remedial system design, and review of shop drawings/specifications/product data.
  • Field oversight of contractors, ensuring performance, quality, schedule, safety, and technical effectiveness.
  • Evaluation of remedial technologies for site-specific application, including pilot studies and design development.
  • Preparation and execution of fieldwork, including air, soil, sediment, and groundwater sampling, remedial construction management, and installation of monitoring wells.
  • Conducting environmental field studies and surveys, and working as part of a field team to conduct investigation and/or oversight projects.
  • Providing technical support for project teams performing preliminary assessments, site investigations, remedial investigations/actions, site surveys, and feasibility studies.
  • Office tasks, including data organization, analysis, and reporting, as well as writing and supporting the writing of documents.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Experience with environmental site investigation and remediation.
  • Prior experience overseeing or working with subcontractors while performing fieldwork.
Preferred Qualifications
  • EIT or PE license.
  • Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and database and data visualization software (EQuIS, EnviroInsite, GIS).
  • Strong communication, analytical, and technical writing skills.
  • Ability to travel on short-term assignments as needed.
  • Knowledge of CT RSRs and ASTM Site Assessment protocols.
  • OSHA HAZWOPER training.
