Position Overview: The primary focus of the S&T Product Development Scientist, Expert is to spearhead innovation and formulation development in the domain of coatings tailored for beverage applications. This position necessitates a distinctive combination of scientific expertise, mechanical proficiency, and a strong dedication to pioneering advancements.

Short-Term Objectives (1-2 years):

1. Formulation Development: Collaborate with product development chemists to design and refine coating formulations specifically for beverage applications.

2. Technical Support: Offer technical guidance to clients and internal teams, addressing coating-related challenges as they emerge.

3. Data Interpretation: Evaluate experimental results, compile reports, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.

4. Client Interaction: Engage with clients on-site to gain insights into their operations and application processes, identifying areas for enhancement and innovation.

Long-Term Objectives (3-5 years):

5. Leadership in Innovation: Direct the creation of new products, adhering to established timelines and achieving critical milestones.

6. Manufacturing Enhancement: Comprehend and refine the product manufacturing process to ensure adherence to regulatory and quality standards.

7. Collaborative Environment: Promote a cooperative atmosphere, working closely with various departments within the organization.

Qualifications:

1. A Master's degree or PhD in chemistry or engineering.

2. At least 8 years of professional experience in coatings formulation.

3. Proven mechanical skills and the capability to operate laboratory apparatus.

4. A demonstrated history of new product development, with the ability to meet specific deadlines.

5. Willingness to travel occasionally to acquire application expertise from equipment suppliers and clients.

Preferred Qualifications:

Extensive knowledge and experience in spray application processes, particularly air-less spray techniques.
