Software Development Analyst
Responsible for the development and maintenance of software solutions as directed by the Project Manager. Offers technical support to the user community of applications.

This role is fully remote and can be executed from any location.

Develops, maintains, and provides support for software applications utilized by the user community. Designs and executes solutions based on business requirements. Engages in all phases of the application lifecycle, including analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment. Conducts configuration and administration of business applications for SaaS solutions. Codes, tests, and implements solutions using the most suitable tools as determined through collaboration with the Solution Architect and Development Manager. Develops and supports integration with various systems, applications, and databases. Adheres to corporate system development life cycle, style standards, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, governance, and related policies. Creates and maintains custom reports, dashboards, validation rules, and workflows. Designs and implements application security measures. Provides support for production applications by responding to service desk requests, tracking issues, and following up with users. Executes upgrades for both packaged and internally developed business systems. Supports internally developed applications by addressing defects and implementing enhancements. Collaborates with business stakeholders, IT Business Partners, and Business Analysts to identify software issues and develop solutions. Develops and supports reports requested by the business on vendor platforms. Performs additional duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

A degree from a four-year college or technical institution is required. A minimum of one year of relevant experience in system development and business analysis is preferred.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. 3 - 5 years of progressive experience in business systems implementation and support. Proficiency in web-based technologies such as LWC & AURA components, JQuery, ReactJS/NodeJS, Salesforce Apex, Java/J2EE, or .NET. Familiarity with XML, integration, workflow, and Service-Oriented Architecture. Experience in projects requiring the implementation of custom and vendor-supported technologies. Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with business and IT professionals. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Capability to facilitate meetings and workshops both in-person and remotely. Ability to mentor junior developers. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. 3 - 5 years of programming experience in a web environment. Experience in application design and development, including Object-Oriented software design or AWS development, such as Lambda functions. Knowledge of designing and utilizing REST-based or SOAP-based web services. Familiarity with CRM platforms and cloud-based technologies. Experience with automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing. Understanding of Agile development methodologies. Knowledge of standard programming design patterns for implementing flexible and scalable solutions. Familiarity with enterprise integration solutions. Proficient in standard software tools for source code management, continuous integration, and development. Experience with database concepts and data modeling. Proficient in writing database queries, stored procedures, and functions.
