About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Production Control Specialist to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. In this role, you'll play a critical part in our Mission Components value stream, working closely with cross-functional teams to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a high visibility, high mix area to ensure material availability and provide production floor support.
  • Conduct material availability analysis, tracking, and reporting to optimize production processes.
  • Manage kit readiness, working with cross-functional teams in Bill of Materials, Material Master, Process Engineering, Operations, and Document Control.
  • Provide production floor support, including replacement part management, shop floor material staging, Work in Progress (WIP) movement, and completion of units in the MRP system.
  • Meet MRP schedule requirements to ensure timely delivery of products.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with MRP, SAP PRISM.
  • Experience in Material and Inventory Control-type systems such as Kanban, SMI, Continuous Flow Manufacturing.
  • Experience utilizing lean manufacturing concepts.
  • Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook/Skype).

  • A competitive salary range of $64,000 - $128,000.
