Key Responsibilities- Warehouse Administration: Administer and operate the organisation's warehouses, including processing, packaging, and storage of supplies, materials, and equipment.
- Inventory Management: Account for all materials and supplies in the stores facilities; audit goods received into warehouse.
- Supply Chain Oversight: Oversees receipt, storage, and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Prepares and coordinates schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space.
- Operational Effectiveness: Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilisation, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.
- Material Handling: Transports merchandise using a Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) to designated locations within the warehouse, which may include loading, unloading, and order picking standards.
- Warehouse Deliverables: Overall responsibility of warehouse deliverables including; performance, compliance, and effectiveness.
- Culture and Leadership: Promote and encourage our culture and Great Leader Drivers (GLDs) to help operate a positive working environment.
- Warehouse KPIs: Manage warehouse KPIs.
- AX D365 Expertise: AX D365 subject matter expert.
- Team Development: Develop warehouse team multi-skilling and oversee effective training and records.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead member in continuous improvement programmes including identification of issues and solution providing.
- Order Management: Responsible for accurate and timely order confirmation, goods receipting, and dispatch.
- Communication: Ensure effective communication with Warehouse Shift Manager to keep them informed, highlighting any issues or problems as they arise.
- Training and Development: Train associates to meet documented standards ensuring safe operator compliance.
- Shift Handovers: Conduct effective shift handovers.
- Order Fulfillment: Ensure orders are picked accurately and in a timely manner to meet internal and external customer requirements.
- Company KPIs: Understand and affect company KPIs.
- Audit Standards: Ensure customer audit standards are maintained.
- Product Quality: Ensure product quality against defined standards.
- Paperwork and Systems: Ensure all paperwork is completed to meet legal requirements and that relevant systems are maintained including; Traceability, Health and Safety, Good Manufacturing Practices, ERP.
- Delivery and Safety: Ensure all products are delivered in a safe and timely manner to agreed specification.
- MHE Operation: Ensure MHE is used correctly within specification and technical requirement.
- Wastage and Efficiency: Ensure minimum wastage with safe and efficient operation of MHE.
- Labelling and Compliance: Ensure correct labelling to meet internal and external customer requirements e.g. traceability and date coding.
- Company Policies: Operate and adhere to all company policy and procedures.
- Workplace Safety: Keep work areas clean and tidy.
- Health and Safety: Actively champion Health and Safety to ensure a safe working environment.
