Position Summary:

The Senior Accounting Specialist will oversee a range of accounting functions, including journal entries, month-end closing activities, reconciliations, and the preparation of financial statements. This position also entails significant responsibilities related to internal audits and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, the ability to adhere to tight deadlines, and the capability to conduct thorough analyses of financial outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Execute account reconciliations, encompassing bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Lead and facilitate internal audit procedures, ensuring adherence to internal controls and corporate policies.
  • Generate and evaluate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Perform inventory assessments and prepare corresponding journal entries.
  • Conduct commission evaluations and compile related reports.
  • Review and manage expense submissions, ensuring prompt and precise processing.
  • Assist with external audits and guarantee timely and accurate provision of necessary documentation.
  • Engage in various accounting and finance initiatives as directed by management.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a comparable position.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
