The Sales Account Manager is a senior sales management position responsible for developing and closing sales for a branch as assigned by the supervisor. The role ensures that sales for all branch lines of business are developed and closed in accordance with Company goals, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve branch sales goals
- Manage overall workload distribution and prioritize sales efforts
- Prospect, qualify, and manage sales opportunities from initial contact to closure
- Prepare and submit proposals, contracts, and other sales-related documents
- Provide regular reporting on sales status to management and customers
- Monitor and review sales department, project, client, and line of business goals and related branch issues
- Lead sales meetings and training sessions to promote sales process improvement
- Must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree; Master's Degree preferred
- Must have at least seven (7) years experience in customer interface, such as liaison between the customer and the Company
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and sales management software packages
- Must be familiar with and able to effectively utilize project-based accounting software packages
- Must meet FCG minimum driving standards
- Must have proven ability to manage multiple tasks/sales efforts simultaneously
Must be self-motivated, positive in approach, professional, and lead others to create, develop, implement, and review sales process improvement
Must promote the Company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, and customers
Must participate as a member of the Branch or Regional Operations Team
Must possess proven problem-solving skills, critical thinking skills, and the ability to effectively read, write, and give oral presentations
Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel within the branch territory and/or regional territory as needed
