Position Overview:

The Strategic Liaison for Hematology Insights is a pivotal role within AbbVie, reporting directly to the Associate Director of Thought Leader Strategy. This position is designed for candidates who are located within a reasonable distance from the designated primary city.

Geographical Scope:
We are open to candidates residing in various states, including:
- Texas
- Arizona
- Utah
- Colorado
- Oklahoma
- Louisiana

Role Summary:
The Strategic Liaison is a hybrid position dedicated to supporting Venclexta. This role is essential for fostering and sustaining relationships with prominent hematology experts in the assigned territory, enabling the collection of vital insights that inform strategic decisions and tactical approaches.

Collaboration and Leadership:
This position requires effective collaboration with commercial team members, as well as cross-functional partners in legal, compliance, medical, and co-marketing teams, to propel business objectives forward. The Strategic Liaison must exhibit the capability to lead without direct authority and play a significant role in cultivating a cohesive and integrated commercial team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish, implement, and uphold accountability for interactions and feedback with national and regional oncology hematology experts.
  • Ensure that insights from external experts are consistently communicated and integrated across leadership and the Integrated Brand Team.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of marketing consultancy arrangements.
  • Engage in national congress-related activities, supporting and executing ongoing strategies and tactics.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional partners, including sales, marketing, medical affairs, legal, compliance, and managed care.
  • Work with the brand team to ensure the speaker bureau is fully staffed, trained, and aligned with educational requirements.
  • Promote a culture of compliance within all activities.
  • Develop and execute national and regional advisory boards in partnership with the brand team and co-promotion partners.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of the Venclexta External Expert Engagement strategy.
  • Participate in the formulation of regional strategies alongside cross-functional partners.
  • Engage in cross-functional project teams and support the Marketing Team and overall franchise.
