Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at SSC Advisors, Inc. in Lawrence. This part-time position will provide backup support to our front desk, administrative staff, and client accounting services teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform basic accounting duties, including preparing deposits, processing payments, and contacting clients for accounts receivables.
  • Process and scan tax forms, maintain financial databases and spreadsheets, and ensure proper handling of audit, tax, and client deliverables.
  • Provide administrative assistance, including organizing and scheduling appointments, answering and directing phone calls, and writing and distributing emails and correspondence.
  • Assist in the preparation of scheduled reports and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of recent prior office experience.
  • Proficient in computer software programs, such as Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong typing skills, 50+ wpm.
  • Experience with office equipment, such as fax machines, copiers, and scanners.
  • Basic mathematical skills and knowledge of accounting and financial principles.
