Overview:

The Operations Support Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the Business and Enterprise Systems (BES) Directorate in achieving Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) and Federal Information Systems Control Audit Manual (FISCAM) compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze organizational operations to identify problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Gather and secure information through employee and customer interviews, report reviews, operational analysis, and database assessments.
  • Document and present findings and recommendations in detailed reports.
  • Develop practical solutions by defining system or process requirements, analyzing alternatives, and preparing system specifications.
  • Identify workflow and system improvements, providing advice to management and collaborating with operations teams to implement changes.
  • Collaborate with analytical teams on complex issues and assist employee teams in implementing proposals.
  • Develop project estimates, including phases, personnel requirements, and costs.
  • Provide system support, write documentation, conduct training, and meet with users post-implementation to assess system effectiveness.
  • Maintain and enforce organization standards, ensuring system integrity and security.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 4 years work experience directly relating to operations tech support analysis
  • Secret Clearance
