Overview:
The Operations Support Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the Business and Enterprise Systems (BES) Directorate in achieving Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) and Federal Information Systems Control Audit Manual (FISCAM) compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze organizational operations to identify problems and develop effective solutions.
- Gather and secure information through employee and customer interviews, report reviews, operational analysis, and database assessments.
- Document and present findings and recommendations in detailed reports.
- Develop practical solutions by defining system or process requirements, analyzing alternatives, and preparing system specifications.
- Identify workflow and system improvements, providing advice to management and collaborating with operations teams to implement changes.
- Collaborate with analytical teams on complex issues and assist employee teams in implementing proposals.
- Develop project estimates, including phases, personnel requirements, and costs.
- Provide system support, write documentation, conduct training, and meet with users post-implementation to assess system effectiveness.
- Maintain and enforce organization standards, ensuring system integrity and security.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 4 years work experience directly relating to operations tech support analysis
- Secret Clearance
