Job Summary

The Electrophysiology Laboratory at UC Davis Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiovascular Technician to join our team. As a Cardiovascular Technician, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias and other cardiovascular conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the performance of all EP invasive and interventional procedures, including EPS, ablation, PM, ICD, lead extraction, and loop recorder procedures.
  • Operate and maintain X-ray and digital equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety.
  • Provide pre- and post-procedure care to patients, including preparing them for procedures and monitoring their recovery.
  • Collaborate with the EP team to ensure seamless and efficient procedure execution.
  • Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an EP lab or cardiovascular setting; experience with EP systems and equipment preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
