Customer Service Representative

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Indiana Farm Insurance. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, resolving issues, and building strong relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Provide product and service information to customers, answer questions, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Support and Collaboration: Work closely with agents and other departments to provide sales and marketing support, and assist with office operations such as scheduling appointments, quoting insurance, and cash handling.
- Problem Resolution: Determine the best method to resolve customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to company policies.
- Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with customers, understand their needs and expectations, and deliver solutions that meet their requirements.
- Operational Efficiency: Work with guidance to organize, prioritize, and oversee activities to efficiently meet business objectives, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Requirements for Success:
- Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- License and Certification: Ability to obtain Property and Casualty insurance license within the first two years.
- Insurance Background: Insurance and/or claims background is helpful.
- Communication Skills: Ability to develop strong communication skills that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
- Mathematical Skills: Requires an understanding of numerical concepts to perform mathematical transactions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
