Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at the Georgia Tech Research Institute. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the work of technical teams on systems projects, ensuring the successful design, implementation, operation, and technical management of those projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create product or system definitions and conduct initial requirements analysis
  • Contribute to technical reports and diagrams detailing product or system attributes
  • Analyze product or system functionality as defined by requirements
  • Interface with and begin to work with disparate engineering teams for technical tasking
Requirements:
  • Candidates currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's degree program relevant to this position with an expected graduation date no later than December 31, 2024 will be considered
  • Experience with the design, integration, and testing of electronic systems
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Ability to code in Python and/or C++
  • Ability to perform CAD modeling (electrical and/or mechanical)
  • Experience with EW, radar, and avionics systems architecture, function, and interface
  • Experience with relevant aircraft communication interfaces, such as MIL-STD-1553, Ethernet, serial, discrete, and analog interfaces
  • Experience with hardware and software system troubleshooting
  • Experience with hardware and software development and testing in a laboratory environment
  • Experience with test instrumentation such as Oscilloscopes and Spectrum Analyzers
