Your Role:
As an Indirect Tax Compliance Manager, you will:

  • Oversee global indirect tax compliance: Ensure precise accounting, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Enhance reporting processes: Engage in projects aimed at improving tax reporting, updating systems, and automating procedures for increased efficiency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders: Work closely with various departments to adhere to global regulations and internal policies.
  • Ensure data integrity: Manage data reconciliation and documentation for accuracy and automation.
  • Establish compliance protocols: Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and controls for tax reporting, including adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).

Issue Resolution:
Work with stakeholders to address global indirect tax audits and inquiries effectively.

Leadership and Development:
Provide guidance, mentorship, and career development opportunities for team members. Coordinate tax activities to optimize resources and achieve strategic objectives.

Continuous Improvement:
Enhance internal reporting and data accuracy. Leverage technology to streamline compliance processes and implement innovative solutions for tax reporting.

Planning and Risk Management:
Analyze data for tax planning and risk management. Stay informed about global tax laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure compliance and support strategic goals.

Qualifications:
You should possess:

  • CPA, Master's in Tax, or JD preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in public accounting or a multinational corporation.
  • Advanced knowledge in indirect tax, with expertise in at least one area and a comprehensive understanding of broader tax disciplines.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record of managing multiple teams and projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships across departments and with external stakeholders.

Additional Requirements:
Demonstrated success in resolving complex tax issues and providing strategic guidance. Ability to independently initiate and lead business analyses. Experience in developing policies and procedures related to tax compliance and reporting. Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
