Our Global Tax Compliance team is seeking a Senior Specialist with expertise in Compliance. This role offers the flexibility to work in a hybrid model from various locations.

The Global Tax Compliance Senior Specialist will engage in specialized services addressing a broad spectrum of international tax issues, including compliance and reporting projects; assess taxpayer eligibility for international tax elections and exceptions such as GILTI high tax exception; conduct international tax quantitative modeling, and perform foreign tax credit analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address intricate and challenging international tax issues.
  • Manage client relationships on daily tax matters, assisting partners with service execution and the development of additional services.
  • Review tax preparation work completed by our team and offshore partners.
  • Provide expert tax compliance knowledge, including the preparation of U.S. international tax forms, such as 5471, 8992, 8865, 8858, 1042, 8802, K-2 and K-3, and 8833.
  • Calculate E&P, Section 987 foreign exchange gains (losses), GILTI, expense apportionment and allocation, ECI, Subpart F and Subpart F recapture, and Section 962.
  • Effectively oversee budgets.
  • Proactively cultivate relationships and communicate efficiently with clients and internally to ensure superior service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • CPA license or eligibility to pursue CPA licensure.
  • A minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in International Tax compliance within a public accounting firm or a large corporate tax department of a multinational organization is preferred.
  • Strong technical tax and accounting skills, along with analytical, verbal and written communication, interpersonal, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional research and technical writing capabilities.
  • Familiarity with ProSystem fx, CCH, RIA, and/or Engagement is advantageous.
  • Ability to engage in all facets of strategic planning initiatives and possess robust project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
