This role offers exposure to various aspects of international taxation, including U.S. and foreign tax planning, compliance, transfer pricing, indirect taxes, and foreign tax provisions.

Work collaboratively with our expert Tax Team and engage closely with operational staff and external advisors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies that align with corporate objectives through collaboration with internal partners.
  • Support mergers and acquisitions by structuring deals and facilitating integrations.
  • Coordinate with Treasury and Accounting departments to manage intercompany funding strategies, including leverage planning, cash injections, and repatriation tactics.
  • Conduct research and assess the implications of tax legislation on the organization.
  • Oversee U.S. international tax calculations and necessary forms, including Forms 8990, 8991, 8992, 8993, and 1118.
  • Manage GILTI, FDII, Subpart F, BEAT, 163(j), cost allocations, and optimize foreign tax credits.
  • Review international income tax returns, GAAP to Stat adjustments, and return-to-provision reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with BEPS reporting requirements (local file, master file, CbCR notification, etc.).
  • Maintain an international tax compliance timeline.
  • Coordinate international credit and incentive processes with external advisors.
  • Oversee GloBe Information Return and related calculations.

Qualifications

  • A degree in accounting or finance; CPA, JD, and/or MST certifications are preferred.
  • A minimum of 8 years of tax experience in a Big 4 Accounting Firm or a large multinational corporation.
  • Thorough understanding of U.S. International Tax principles (GILTI, BEAT, FDII, Subpart F Income, foreign tax credits, earnings and profits, etc.).
  • Experience in managing and reviewing international tax forms is highly advantageous.
  • Strong tax research, writing, and analytical skills are essential.
  • Ability to interact effectively with tax and business management at all levels.
  • Self-driven with excellent communication and teamwork skills; adept in time management, analytical reasoning, and prioritization.
  • Capability to proactively identify and implement process improvements.
